Crystal Graduates from SIDE and gets a US College Scholarship

Big congratulations to Crystal for receiving a full scholarship to Harding University in Arkansas.

Earlier this year John went to the US to begin to establish the relationships necessary to help our players avail themselves of these great opportunities to continue their progress academically and athletically. Harding was a school John found to be a particularly good fit for an aspiring young player from Australia. The coach is a master professional of 35 years and the school is in a safe community.

Crystal’s outstanding junior career saw her receive many full scholarship offers from division 1 and division 2 universities but after careful consideration all parties mutually decided on Harding.

Part of Crystals success in both tennis and academics can be attributed to the School of Isolated and Distance Education and her relationship with the student co-ordinator that Brixton Tennis works with at SIDE Paula Bowen. We would like to thank Paula for helping Crystal and so many others manage their schooling in a way that they could aspire to elite tennis accomplishment.
